Technical Theatre: Lighting & Set Design

Explore a new area of technical theatre or deepen skills in an existing one! These hands-on classes will build knowledge and practical skills to put to use as a member of a tech crew. Participants will receive priority for tech crew assignments at Blue Water during Season 18 (2024-2025).

Day 1: Lighting Design 101 + 1 hour of creative work with lighting instruments and the light board

Day 2: Set Design 101 + 1 hour of set construction tasks including building muslin flats

Who: Students in Gr. 7-12

When: Tuesdays, 11/12 & 11/19 from 7-9pm

Cost: $129.50 (includes credit card processing fee)

Maximum Enrollment: 15 students
