Raise The Roof: Open House

Blue Water Theatre Company warmly invites you to a special open house on December 21st at 5:30pm celebrating the rich history—and bright future—of 605 Rice Street East.
Your perspective and partnership matter deeply to us. This event offers a welcoming, informative opportunity to learn more about our historical building, the young artists who fill it with life, and the steps we are taking to preserve it for years to come.
What You’ll Experience:
- A display of rarely seen historical photographs of the building and neighborhood
- Optional guided tours highlighting both the character and preservation needs of the space
- A short program, including:
- A brief historical presentation on the remarkable legacy of our beloved building by The Lake Minnetonka Historical Society
- A personal story from a youth performer about why this place is her “second home”
- An update on the Raise the Roof campaign and our long-term sustainability plans
Why Your Presence Matters
This evening is designed especially for those who want to understand how our efforts today will preserve, and set the stage for, the future of our building and our theatre community.
Light refreshments will be served and opportunities for questions will be provided.
We hope you’ll join us in honoring both the past we inherited and the future we are building together.
RSVP
Please also consider grabbing tickets to the last performance of Water For Elephants just before the open house.
Thank you for your continued support.
