Devising, Writing & Creating: Bringing Your Stories to the Stage

This 5-day camp will provide students (Gr. 3-5) with the opportunity to make a whole lot of exciting and challenging theatre. In this camp, there are no ‘bad’ ideas, only opportunities to explore. Students will work as an ensemble to experiment with several types of theatrical storytelling. Starting with the idea that every human being has a story worth telling, this camp empowers students to use tools of the theatre to tell that story. This workshop will build confidence, cultivate skills in teamwork and collaboration, and be a playground for creativity, critical thinking, and unleashing one’s awesomeness.

Students will showcase their work with a performance for family and friends at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 7th on the Blue Water stage.

Students should bring a lunch each day.
