Scholarship FAQ
Equity is one of our values, so we’re dedicated to providing each child with equal access and opportunity in our creative space. Our art represents a rich tapestry of backgrounds, and we’re committed to eliminating barriers so that everyone can participate.
- Who can apply?
- Anyone (families and students age 18+) can apply.
- Do they cover full tuition?
- Full, half, and partial scholarships are available.
- How are scholarships funded?
- Scholarship funds are included in our annual operating budget. Additional funds come from sponsors and individual donors.
- How do I apply for a scholarship?
- Applications can be submitted below.
- When should I apply?
- Submit applications within 5 days of the posting of the cast list for shows (plays & musicals).
- If you intend to submit a scholarship application for a class or camp, email info@bluewatertheatre.com and we will temporarily hold a spot for your child (pending availability) while the application is being processed. Applications must be submitted before the registration deadline for the class (typically 1 month before the start date).
- How are recipients chosen?
- Household financial information, federal poverty guidelines, and special circumstances guide the awarding of scholarships. See the applications for more details.
